After what feels like a week straight of rain and freezing temps, our 10 day forecast here in NYC is looking pretty unbelievable! Fingers crossed that we've finally crossed over into Spring. With warmer weather comes much more frequent trips to the farmers market on the weekends. Fresh peonies, berries, and veggies galore! I love going to the Union Square Greenmarket on Saturday mornings and perusing all the local goodies. It can be tempting to throw on those lulu leggings, but unless you're coming from SoulCycle, try what I like to call "weekend chic". It consists of these basic staples: boyfriend jeans, comfy (not sloppy) tee, flats, and a stylish yet functional tote to house all of your market goodies. The boyfriend jeans I styled here are some of the best jeans I've ever worn! They are from a relatively new brand called
Parker Smith, and this is truly the most flattering pair of boyfriend jeans I've ever worn (size down one size). Parker Smith really puts a focus on the fit of their denim, with strategically placed back pockets to flatter, and a contoured waistband for comfort. Their attention to fit and fabric really comes through in the jeans, I could honestly live in these pants! You better believe you will be seeing a lot of more these, and I plan on purchasing the boyfriend jean in every color available! See more of what Parker Smith has to offer
here.
