East Hampton Mornings

I've gotta be honest with you guys. I feel like a broken record sometimes, talking about how every new dress is THE BEST dress I've ever owned. I truly do love each and every thing I share with you, and would never recommend something I didn't feel really passionate about. However, I realize that sometimes things can be repetitive and it starts to make me seem disingenuous. Whenever I find a new item that I can't wait to show you guys, I just get so excited! Nothing makes me happier than finding seriously awesome pieces and hearing that you loved them too. One of the best parts of my job is getting emails from ya'll when you buy something that you saw on A Stylish Side Project and it made you feel fab at your BFFs wedding, prom, a first date, or whatever the occasion! They honestly brighten my day :)

With that said, todays post is one of my favorite outfits so far this summer (I know, I know. I can't help myself!). This dress is great for so many different reasons, that I feel like the best way for me to organize my love for it is with a list. Does anyone else like to make lists when their thoughts are feeling a little jumbled?? They are a life saver for me!! Anyways, below are my top 5 favorite things about this fun dress.

1.) The material is amazing. I wore this outfit in the Hamptons, which means it was stuffed in a suitcase for hours. I didn't need to steam it when I unpacked, it was totally winkle free!

2.) The cut is fantastic. I love a good mini dress, and this one keeps it tasteful by balancing out the short hem with a crew neckline and short sleeves.

3.) The colors are perfect for the season. I love red and blue together in the summer. Of course I love the combo for the Fourth, but there's something so chic about Americana dressing throughout the entire summer.

4.) This dress can be dressed up or down. I wore it here for a morning coffee run and some shopping around East Hampton. I styled it with easy wedges and a straw tote, but I can easily wear this dress into the evening as well. Swap out my wedges for strappy heels, and add a clutch!

5.) It is SO flattering. Between the flirty style, the fun crochet detailing, and the nice fabric this dress made me feel and look amazing! I want to to wear it everywhere!!

If all of this hasn't convinced you that you need this dress, perhaps I should mention that you can rent it here for just a fraction of the cost! You're welcome ;)
