I feel like the seasons can change at the drop of a hat in NYC, and all of a sudden it's back up to the mid-70s this week! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this temperature. But considering I just switched out my closet from summer to fall, I'm struggling with what to wear! Wearing shorts in October just doesn't feel right, so I've found myself gravitating towards my skirts and dresses. Read on to hear some of my favorite tricks for extending summer items into fall!
One of the easiest things to transition into fall is a maxi skirt. I paired mine here with a long sleeve tee, utility vest, and booties, making it an effortless weekend look for cooler temps. I think it would also be adorable paired with a button up, blazer, and heels for the office. As it begins to get even cooler, wear a maxi skirt with an oversized cable knit and OTK boots. Seriously, it works! Some other items I plan on keeping in my closet for fall are mini dresses/ skirts (a mini + OTK boots = perfection), tunic tanks (to be worn as layers underneath sweaters), and open-toe booties (so cute paired with fun tights!). I'm very excited to partner with
